FAQs

Does the Elstead Chalk Farm Table Lamp come with a shade?
Yes — the lamp is supplied complete with the ivory faux silk drum shade and polished nickel finial as shown.

Is a bulb included with the Chalk Farm Table Lamp?
No, a bulb is not included. The lamp uses a standard lamped socket, so you'll need to source a suitable bulb separately. Check the maximum wattage rating before selecting a bulb.

What type of light does a drum shade produce?
Drum shades distribute light both upward and downward, creating a soft, ambient glow rather than focused task lighting — well suited to living rooms, bedrooms, and hallways.

What is the base of the Chalk Farm lamp made from?
The base is ceramic, featuring a smooth glossy finish on the upper section and a subtly matte, speckled texture on the lower portion, with a seamless ombre colour gradient from light grey to chalk white.

Is this lamp suitable for use in a bathroom?
No — this is a standard interior table lamp with no IP rating, meaning it is not suitable for use in wet or damp areas such as bathrooms. It is designed for dry interior spaces only.
