What does IP44 mean and where can I install the Bayview?
IP44 means the fitting is protected against small solid particles and water splashing from any direction. It is suitable for covered or semi-sheltered exterior positions such as porches, under-eave locations, and covered terraces. It is not recommended for fully exposed positions subject to direct driving rain.

Does the Bayview come with a bulb?
No, a lamp is not included. The fitting has a single internal socket — check the base type (E27 or B22) for your chosen size variant before selecting a bulb. A clear filament-style lamp will complement the open glass panel design particularly well.

Do I need a driver or transformer to install the Bayview?
No driver or transformer is required. The Bayview is a standard mains-voltage lamped fitting, which simplifies installation considerably. Connect it directly to your exterior mains supply via a qualified electrician.

Which size should I choose — Small, Medium, or Large?
The three sizes are designed to suit different scales of application. Small works well for side gates or secondary entrances, Medium suits most standard front doors and porches, and Large is better suited to grander entrances, double doors, or high-ceilinged covered terraces.
