FAQs

Does the Elstead Armand come with a bulb included?
No, the Armand requires a candle-style bulb purchased separately. We recommend a warm white (2700K) filament-style LED candle lamp for the best visual result — the clear glass shade means the bulb is always visible, so appearance matters.

Does the Armand need an external driver or transformer?
No. As a lamped wall light with a standard candle socket, the Armand connects directly to your mains supply. No external driver or transformer is required, which simplifies installation considerably.

What finish is the Armand available in?
The Armand is available in an Aged Brass & Black combination — a matte black body with brass-toned hardware and arm. Two variants are offered, so confirm the specific configuration with us before ordering.

Is the Armand suitable for bathroom use?
No IP rating is stated for the Armand, which means it is intended for dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones where moisture resistance is required. For wet or damp areas, a fitting with a minimum IP44 rating would be needed.

What interior styles suit the Elstead Armand?
The Armand's dual-tone finish and mixed glass elements make it a natural fit for transitional, contemporary-classic, and artisan-influenced interiors. It works well in hallways, living spaces, bedrooms, and hospitality environments where considered detail matters.
