FAQs

Is a bulb included with the Cap-Ferrat table lamp?
No, a bulb is not included. This is a lamped fitting, meaning you supply your own bulb. We recommend a warm white LED at 2700K to complement the honey tones of the ceramic base.

Where can this lamp be used?
The Cap-Ferrat is rated IP20, which means it is suitable for dry interior locations only — living rooms, bedrooms, studies, and hallways. It is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use.

What is the shade material and how does it affect the light?
The shade is a large, flared off-white linen. Linen diffuses light broadly and softly, creating warm ambient light rather than a focused beam — ideal for bedside or occasional table use.

Is this lamp dimmable?
Dimmability depends on the bulb you choose and your existing dimmer switch. If dimming is important to your scheme, select a dimmable LED bulb and ensure your dimmer is compatible with LED loads. We can advise on suitable combinations.

What materials is the base made from?
The base is ceramic with a hand-applied light honey glaze. The hardware, including the neck rod and finial, is brass-toned metal. The shade is linen with a conical, Empire-style silhouette.
