What does IP44 mean and is it suitable for my outdoor wall?
IP44 means the fitting is protected against solid particles larger than 1mm and water splashing from any direction. It is suitable for exposed exterior wall positions in most residential settings, including covered and uncovered facades.

Is a bulb included with the Pearson wall lantern?
No — the lamp is not included. The fitting takes a single E27 bulb (Edison screw, the standard large bayonet-style fitting) up to 60W, or an LED equivalent. A tall vintage tubular bulb is recommended to suit the proportions of the cylindrical glass shade.

Which finishes are available?
The Pearson wall lantern is available in two finishes: Textured Black and Burnished Bronze. The Burnished Bronze has a weathered, aged appearance that suits heritage and contemporary elevations equally well.

Does the anti-corrosion warranty cover coastal locations in Mallorca?
The 3-year anti-corrosion warranty supplied by Quintiesse excludes locations within 5 miles of the coastline. If your property is in a coastal zone, it is worth discussing finish selection and alternative options with us before specifying.

Can I use a dimmer switch with the Pearson lantern?
The lantern itself is lamped rather than LED-integrated, so dimming capability depends entirely on the bulb you choose. If you select a dimmable LED E27 bulb, you will also need a compatible dimmer switch rated for LED loads. We can advise on compatible options.
