Is the Hadrian flush light suitable for bathroom use?
Yes. It carries an IP44 rating, meaning it is protected against water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for Zone 2 and general bathroom ceiling positions — the most common placement for a ceiling light in a bathroom.

Does the light come with a bulb?
No — the lamp is not included. The Hadrian takes a single E27 lamp (the standard screw-cap fitting) up to 60W, or an LED equivalent. This gives you full control over output, colour temperature, and bulb style, including decorative filament options that work well with the clear glass shade.

Does it need a driver or transformer?
No. This is a direct-mains lamped fitting with a standard E27 socket. There is no external driver or transformer required — just a live mains connection at the ceiling rose.

What finish and glass options are available?
The Hadrian is available in four finishes — Oil Rubbed Bronze, Chrome, Brushed Bronze, and Antique Nickel — each paired with a choice of clear or opal glass. Clear glass suits decorative bulbs and maximises light output; opal glass diffuses the light for a softer, more even effect.

Is the fitting suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The compact, flush-mount design keeps the profile close to the ceiling, making it a practical choice where ceiling height is limited — which is common in many bathroom and hallway applications.
