What does IP44 mean and where can I install this fitting in a bathroom?
IP44 means the fitting is protected against water splashes from any direction. This makes it suitable for the area around your basin or mirror — known as Zone 2 in bathroom wiring regulations — where moisture and spray are present but direct water contact is not expected. It is not suitable for installation directly over a shower or bath (Zone 1).

Does the Addison come with bulbs included?
Yes. The Addison is supplied with G9 LED bulbs, so you do not need to source lamps separately. G9 is a compact capsule fitting commonly used in vanity and decorative lights; the LED version is energy-efficient and long-lasting.

Can the shades face upward or downward?
Yes. The Addison range is designed to work in either orientation — shades pointing down for direct task lighting below the fitting, or upward for a softer, more diffused ambient effect. Your electrician can confirm the preferred position during installation.

Does this fitting require any special wiring or a driver?
No driver or transformer is needed. The Addison is a standard hardwired mains fitting that connects directly to a wall junction box. Your electrician will need to ensure a correctly positioned back box is in place before installation.

Is there only one finish available?
