FAQs

How far does the Thesis arm extend from the wall?
The Thesis uses a long cantilevered arm designed to position the light source significantly away from the wall mounting point — making it well suited to placement above sofas, reading chairs, or desks. Exact arm dimensions should be confirmed with your Lightsource Mallorca contact.

Can the arm be adjusted once installed?
Visual evidence suggests the vertical wall bracket allows the arm to pivot horizontally, giving you some flexibility to redirect the light after installation. This should be confirmed at point of specification.

What finishes are available for the metal components?
The metal structure — including the wall bracket and horizontal arm — is available in Matt Ivory or Matt Black. The shade appearance is Ivory White. With 16 variants in the range, your Lightsource Mallorca contact can help identify the right combination.

Is the Thesis suitable for bathrooms or outdoor use?
No. The Thesis is rated IP20, which means it is designed for dry interior environments only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, or any outdoor setting. IP20 indicates basic protection against solid objects but no moisture resistance.

What lamp or driver does the Thesis require?
Lamp source and driver information should be confirmed at point of specification. LZF products are typically designed for a specific lamp type, and selecting the right source affects both light quality and dimming compatibility. We can advise on this as part of your project specification.
