Is the Lucide Ruben compatible with a dimmer switch?
Yes — the Ruben is dimmer compatible. For best results, use a dimmable LED filament bulb and a trailing-edge dimmer, which is the type designed for LED loads and tends to give the smoothest dimming performance.

What bulb does the Ruben take, and is one included?
No bulb is included. The Ruben uses a standard E27 Edison screw lamp holder. We recommend a warm-white dimmable LED filament bulb to complement the open-cage design — it enhances the vintage-modern aesthetic and dims well.

Can I use the Ruben in a bathroom or outdoor space?
No — the Ruben is rated IP20, which means it is suitable for dry indoor environments only. It should not be installed in bathrooms, kitchens directly above a sink, or any area exposed to moisture or steam.

Can I hang multiple Ruben pendants together above a dining table?
Yes, and it works very well. The compact 22×22cm frame makes it well-proportioned for grouping. Multiple pendants at staggered or matching heights above a longer table creates a strong, cohesive look. We can advise on spacing and ceiling rose options.

Is the suspension height adjustable?
Yes — the Ruben comes with a height-adjustable cable so you can set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and the surface below. For dining tables, a drop that brings the pendant to around 70–80cm above the table surface is a common starting point.
