Which In-Lite hub does this protector fit?
The Smart Hub Protector 2 is designed specifically for the In-Lite Smart Hub 300 (300VA). It is not compatible with the Smart Hub 75 or Smart Hub 150 — those models require the Hub Protector 1. Always confirm your hub model before ordering.

Do I need to remove my Smart Hub 300 to fit the protector?
No. The protector is designed to fit over a Smart Hub 300 that is already mounted in position, making installation straightforward without requiring rewiring or dismounting the hub.

Why would I need this protector if the Smart Hub 300 is already rated for outdoor use?
The Smart Hub 300 is designed for exterior environments, but additional exposure to prolonged moisture, UV, and temperature extremes — particularly where a covered or sheltered installation isn't possible — can shorten its lifespan. Is there a protector for other In-Lite hub models?
Yes. The Hub Protector 1 covers the Smart Hub 75 and Smart Hub 150, and a separate Hub Protector is available for the Hub 50 and Hub 100. Each protector is model-specific, so matching the correct version to your hub is important.
