What is the maximum cable length I can run with the CBL-120?
It depends on your HUB. With a HUB-50, HUB-100, or SMART HUB-150, the maximum linear run is 80 metres. With a SMART HUB-300, you can extend this to 160 metres. Always plan your layout around your chosen HUB before purchasing cable length.

Can this cable be buried directly in the ground?
Yes. The CBL-120 can be installed directly under a layer of soil or paving without needing a separate conduit or protective sleeve, which simplifies installation on landscaping projects significantly.

What does '10/2' mean on this cable?
The 10/2 designation means the cable has two cores (2) at a 10 AWG gauge rating. The heavier gauge allows for longer cable runs with less voltage drop — meaning your lights receive consistent power even at the far end of a long circuit.

Are cable caps included with the spool?
Yes, cable caps are supplied with the CBL-120 spool. They are also included as standard with In-Lite transformers, so if you already have a HUB, check your existing supply before ordering more.

Is this cable only compatible with In-Lite systems?
The CBL-120 is engineered for use within the In-Lite low-voltage ecosystem and is specified to work with In-Lite HUBs and fixtures. For best results and system warranty confidence, it should be used as part of a complete In-Lite installation.
