Yes. It is constructed from galvanised steel — steel coated in a protective zinc layer — and carries an 8-year warranty against severe corrosion with no coastal exclusion zone. This makes it one of the more honestly specified options for seafront or elevated exposed positions.

What does IP54 mean for outdoor use?
IP54 means the fixture is protected against dust ingress and against water splashing from any direction. It is suitable for exposed wall mounting but is not designed for direct jet-washing or full submersion. For covered terrace positions or open garden walls, IP54 is comfortably adequate.
