FAQs

Is the Elstead Malibu flush light rated for bathroom use?
Yes. It carries an IP44 rating, meaning it is protected against splashing water from any direction — suitable for bathroom ceiling installation in splash-exposed zones.

What lamp type does this fitting use, and is it dimmable?
It uses two E27 screw-cap lamps (not included). The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamp types, so you can use it with a dimmer switch — just confirm your chosen lamp and dimmer are compatible with each other before specifying.

Do I need a separate driver or transformer?
No. This is a mains-voltage lamped fitting with E27 sockets. No driver or transformer is required — just wire it to a standard ceiling rose and fit your chosen E27 lamps.

What are the dimensions, and will it work on a low ceiling?
The fitting is 156mm high and 335mm in diameter. Its flush-mount design keeps the profile close to the ceiling, making it a practical choice where ceiling height is limited.

Which finishes are available?
The Malibu flush ceiling light is available in Polished Chrome, Brushed Brass, and Polished Brass — useful for coordinating with bathroom hardware and tapware finishes.
