elstead-city-lights-2light-wall-lamp
Elstead City Lights Decorative Wall Light

Decorative wall lights can look striking in a showroom and fall flat in context — either fighting the architecture or failing to deliver the ambient presence the design intended. Getting the balance between sculptural form and functional light output right matters, especially in open-plan or high-ceiling spaces.

For statement wall lights in interior settings, what you are really choosing is a piece of wall-mounted sculpture that also works as a light source. IP20 means it is rated for dry interior environments only — no bathrooms, no external walls. The connection is hardwired, so an electrician will need to route supply to the wall before installation. There is no plug-and-play here, which is exactly right for a fixture of this presence.

The Elstead City Lights Decorative Wall Light is an architectural composition in metal and light. Intersecting square-profile bars in a brushed metallic finish form an asymmetric grid, with two frosted diffusers — one compact cube and one taller rectangular form — positioned at offset heights within the frame. The result is a layered silhouette that reads as sculpture even when unlit, and as ambient warmth when switched on.

The City Lights collection is built around the tension between urban geometry and soft light — horizontal and vertical lines arranged with intention, creating order in larger spaces or a confident focal point in more intimate rooms. The brushed metallic finish reads as contemporary without being cold, and the frosted white diffusers soften the light output into the space rather than directing it sharply.

This is a hardwired wall light rated IP20 for dry interior use. Installation requires a standard wall backplate connection, with the central square backplate providing the mounting point behind the intersecting frame. No lamp or driver data is available at this time — confirm supply and lamp requirements with your electrician or our specification team before ordering.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with products like this because they close the gap between a lighting concept and what actually gets installed. Elstead is a well-established UK brand with a broad decorative portfolio, and the City Lights range is a considered choice for modern interiors where the fitting itself is part of the design story. We can advise on placement, pairing with control systems, and lead times — so the specification works on site, not just on paper.
