elstead-brinley-3light-clear-glass-pendant
Elstead Brinley 3-Light Pendant

Cluster pendants often look effortless in a mood board and complicated in reality. Getting the drop heights right, choosing the correct lamp type, and ensuring the grouping reads well at scale are all decisions that catch people out — especially when the fitting ships without clear guidance.

For this kind of decorative pendant, the key decisions are about proportion and placement. Drop length matters: too short and the cluster loses presence, too long and it dominates the room. The Brinley addresses this directly with a wide adjustable drop range, giving you real flexibility during installation without the need for custom rigging.

The Elstead Brinley 3-Light Pendant is a cluster suspension fixture from Elstead Lighting, a UK-based manufacturer with a long track record in decorative specification. Three clear glass shades — each shaped to evoke a traditional canning or Mason jar — are suspended at staggered heights from a single low-profile circular canopy. Individual braided silver cords connect each jar through metal strain-relief fittings at the cap, allowing independent height adjustment at install. The result is a layered, multi-source ambient effect that works equally well as a standalone statement or repeated across a larger space.

The design sits at the intersection of rustic and industrial: clear glass, Edison-style filament lamps, and brushed metal hardware combine to give vintage utility a genuinely modern sensibility. The jar caps feature a tiered rim detail that mimics a screw-top lid — a small but deliberate touch. The Brinley is available in two finishes: Olde Bronze and Brushed Nickel.

The fixture is rated IP20, meaning it is suitable for interior use in dry locations only — not appropriate for bathrooms or humid zones. Overall dimensions are H: 197mm, diameter: 216mm, with an adjustable drop ranging from 256mm to 2,870mm. Lamp type should be confirmed prior to ordering; the Edison-style filament aesthetic works best with a compatible decorative bulb. No lamps are included.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with Elstead because their fittings arrive ready to specify — dimensions are real, finishes are consistent, and lead times are predictable. Whether you are furnishing a single dining space or coordinating across a hospitality project, we can advise on grouping, drop configuration, and compatible lamp selection to make sure the result matches the vision.
