elstead-amarilli-15-light-chandelier
Elstead Amarilli Chandelier

Large-room chandelier selection often comes down to one awkward question: is this fixture genuinely scaled for the space, or will it look like an afterthought hanging from a high ceiling? Getting that wrong is expensive and demoralising.

For dramatic, high-ceilinged rooms — entrance halls, formal dining rooms, double-height living spaces — what matters most is light-point distribution, visual weight from below, and whether the fixture reads as a considered centrepiece rather than an oversized pendant. Ambient illumination across a large footprint requires multiple well-spaced sources, not just a single powerful lamp.

The Elstead Amarilli Chandelier answers that brief directly. Elstead is a well-established UK lighting brand with a long track record in decorative specification. The Amarilli is a three-tier chandelier carrying eighteen candelabra-base light points — arranged across its tiers to fill a room visually as well as physically. Ornate scrollwork arms, decorative leaf-shaped metal accents on the central column, and clear glass or crystal teardrop pendants suspended throughout the frame give it presence from every angle.

The design sits confidently in the French-provincial tradition: wrought-metal construction with scrolled arms and botanical leaf motifs, softened by contrasting silver or chrome candle sleeves over clear glass bobeches. Two finish options are available — Black & Silver and Bronze & Gold — allowing the fixture to anchor either a darker, more dramatic scheme or a warmer, classical interior.

The chandelier is suspended on a metal chain attached to the top of the central column, which allows for height adjustment at installation to suit the ceiling height of the room. Eighteen candelabra-base (E14) bulb positions are included; lamps are not supplied and should be specified separately. No driver is required — this is a direct-mains lamped fixture. Check dimmer compatibility with your chosen candelabra lamps if dimming is intended, as some LED candelabra lamps have specific dimmer requirements.

At Lightsource Mallorca, we work with specification-led brands like Elstead precisely because the product reality matches the product promise. If you are unsure which finish suits your scheme, or need guidance on lamp selection and dimming compatibility for a fixture of this scale, we are here to make that call straightforward — and to ensure what arrives on site is exactly what was planned.
